invites new riders to ‘Get on a Honda’ at Donington Park
Honda (UK) has announced the Honda Motorcycle Experience, which aims to offer those thinking of taking to two wheels the opportunity to ‘Get on a Honda’ in a relaxed, fun, yet professional environment.

The Honda Motorcycle Experience is being launched this week at Donington Park. There will be 20 dates throughout the summer (all at Donington Park) where anyone who wants to have a go on a motorcycle can pre-book a 90-minute taster session run by experienced instructors, for just £39.99. The sessions will teach basic skills and help build confidence, with participants starting on a ‘twist & go’ scooter and working up to a 125cc geared motorcycle*.
Only 55 million to convert!
The launch of the new Honda Motorcycle Experience is part of both Honda (UK)’s and the wider industry’s drive to make it easier for people to try motorcycling. Figures reveal a total of one million taxed motorcycles and five million license holders in the UK; pointing to around 55 million who are yet to enjoy the many benefits involved with holding a motorcycle licence.
Sessions will be held in groups of up to four people in the safe and secure environment of Donington Park, in Castle Donington, near Derby. At the end of their session participants will take the Honda Experience Skills Test to get a measure of how they’ve progressed; with expert advice on hand to talk through the next steps towards getting a full motorcycle licence.

The Honda Motorcycle Experience will be run alongside the well-established Honda Ron Haslam Race School at Donington Park – on the same dates throughout the summer – building upon a long and successful relationship between Honda and Ron over many years. The Ron Haslam School currently provides a range of experiences on Honda motorcycles, from ‘My First Licence’ for 5-10 year olds, through to advanced high-speed courses on the latest Honda sports bikes.
