The Harley Sportster Rides on (part six)
and now, among other things, it's mellow yellow!
Ah you can all take a breath now, and those of you who have expired while holding your breath waiting for the next instalment – well really sorry - but here it is and how great does John's Harley look now? Well extremely great!
Have a closer look and you will see that he has done the rear light as promised in the last episode and stripped and repainted the whole motorcycle using colour coded paint from Wemoto – and very lovely and sunny it looks too, it's certainly eye catching now!
He has repositioned the ignition coil to leave a gap between the engine and the frame – how very fashionable!
The thing which has actually got the most comments – all favourable so far – is the thing which took about 10 minutes – fitting a budweiser cap to the choke – nice one!
Finished off so far with lovely yellow HT leads and smart Wemoto vinyls on the tank what's not to like!
And still saved up for the next rainy day (wouldn't want that motorcycle work of art to get wet after all) remove the corroded front forks and polish!
Ah well it's all good fun. What do you think of the bike now? How much has it changed it is pretty much a different bike now – shows what you can do with a garage and a bit of skill and vision – create a completely original motorcycle which no one else has – a real one off!
