BSA Motorcycle Memories

Here's a reaction from one of our readers, John Walton, who read our
BSA news article a little while back, and has first hand knowledge of the BSA in several of its forms. Thanks for the great photos!
My first bike was a BSA Bantam D7, which would be from the early 1960's.
I then bought a new D14/4 in 1969. Much later I had a Tribsa, which was a 1958 A10 BSA with a Triumph 1953 Thunderbird engine. The A10 handled excellently but of course the Triumph engine was much better than the A10 engine.
Later I had a 1953 Bantam D1. It was actually far better than the later Bantams!
