This chain and sprocket kit is automatically matched to your motorcycle model. Wemoto selects the correct standard-size JT front and rear sprockets for your bike, together with the correct DID 520 chain pitch and standard number of chain links required for that gearing. This means you receive a complete replacement drive kit matched to the original standard specification of your motorcycle without needing to calculate sprocket sizes or chain length yourself.
The kit combines precision-manufactured JT sprockets with a premium DID 520 VX3 Heavy Duty X-Ring Gold & Black chain, providing a dependable complete drivetrain replacement with excellent durability, smooth power transmission and a distinctive premium finish.
At the heart of this kit is the DID 520 VX3, a high-quality sealed drive chain developed for demanding road and off-road motorcycle use. DID’s patented X-Ring sealing system is designed to keep lubricant where it is needed around the chain pins and bushes while helping protect the internal bearing surfaces against water, dirt and other contamination.
The VX3 design combines excellent strength with increased chain rigidity, helping minimise unwanted flex through the drivetrain and providing smooth, direct power transmission. Compared with DID’s conventional VO series, the 520 VX3 offers an increased service-life rating, making it an excellent choice for riders looking for dependable everyday performance with the added visual appeal of a Gold & Black finish.
DID’s X-Ring design creates multiple sealing points between the chain plates, helping retain lubricant around the pins and bushes while limiting the ingress of water, dirt and road contamination. The shaped X-Ring profile also reduces friction compared with a conventional O-Ring seal, helping contribute to smooth operation, reduced wear and improved service life.
JT front and rear sprockets are precision manufactured to provide accurate fitment, consistent chain engagement and dependable service life. For this kit, Wemoto selects the standard sprocket sizes specified for your motorcycle model so the original gearing is retained unless otherwise stated.
The selected JT sprockets are matched with the supplied DID 520 VX3 chain to create a complete replacement final-drive set using components from two established motorcycle drivetrain manufacturers.
The chain and sprockets wear together during normal use. Replacing all three components at the same time allows the new parts to bed in together and helps prevent a new chain from running against worn sprocket teeth.
For optimum service life, replace the chain and both sprockets together. Set chain tension and rear-wheel alignment according to the motorcycle manufacturer’s specification and tighten all sprocket fasteners to the recommended torque settings.
Lubricate the chain regularly using a lubricant suitable for sealed X-Ring chains and check the chain adjustment again after the initial bedding-in period. Regular cleaning, lubrication and tension checks will help maximise the service life of the complete drive set.

Returns
We hope that you are happy with your order, however, there may be instances where you wish to return an item. We ask that customers return items unused and with their original packaging. All returns should include a covering note stating the reason for the return and the order number clearly marked. Please retain the proof of postage until we have confirmed receipt of the items. We recommend sending by a recorded postage method. Refunds will be processed by the original payment method. If you paid on card, it can take up to 7 days to appear back in your account, with PayPal refunds taking up to 30 days refund if you've simply changed your mind, you have 30 days from the date of purchase to return your item(s) for a refund. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs where items are supplied correctly.
Exchanges
We allow customers up to 6 months after the purchase date to return the item for exchange, provided the item is in re-saleable conditions and proof of purchase can be established.
Supply errors
We ask that customers report supply errors as soon as possible after delivery. We reserve the right to decline issues reported beyond 6 months of the purchase date. Please check your order thoroughly on receipt. Where goods are supplied in error, or arrive damaged, we will cover all shipping costs and exchange or refund in full. We reserve the right to charge a 15% restocking fee for items that are returned in poor condition or outside of the accepted time period.
Electrical Items
Please note that when fitting electrical parts these can be damaged by the same faulty electrical system that caused the initial failure and in such circumstances these parts cannot be returned for a refund
Fitting Issues
Where customers experience issues fitting parts to their vehicle, we will always endeavor to thoroughly investigate and rectify where possible. We will first try to ascertain that you have purchased for the correct model of bike and that no modifications have been made. We cannot be held liable for issues fitting standard parts to non-standard or modified vehicles.
